Description
Provides and directs research, analysis, modeling, technical assistance, policy and program design, and program implementation and advisory services primarily to public sector clients at the state, regional, and national level to advance the efficient use of clean energy technologies and strategies across residential, commercial, utility, municipal/government, small business and industrial sectors. Such programs may address individual buildings, campuses, corporate portfolios and community-level clean energy strategies. Engages organizations to implement clean energy solutions and address market barriers to respond to market drivers. Provides clients, program participants, and industry stakeholders with technical advice and assistance to incentivize the use of clean and efficient energy equipment, technologies, practices, and holistic integrated solutions between buildings, electric grid and utilities. Conducts engineering and cost-benefit analyses and other evaluation techniques in the design and evaluation of clean energy technologies and programs to set and measure progress toward performance goals. Ensures that projects and programs are in compliance with technical and financial goals and objectives; often entails identification, engagement, and oversight of industry expert consultants and subcontractors and direct engagement with program participants and industry stakeholders. Learning to use professional concepts. Begins to build knowledge of organization and processes. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine problems. May exercise discretion and judgment. Develops competence by performing structured assignments.
