Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $72,500.00 - $96,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to plan, execute, and optimize email and automated marketing programs across the customer lifecycle.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with channel marketing partners to develop holistic, integrated campaigns that support go-to-market (GTM) plans and strategies

  • Translate business, product, and GTM objectives into strategic email and automation recommendations that drive measurable outcomes

  • Develop and execute email and marketing automation strategies that support product marketing, lifecycle engagement and lead nurturing and conversion goals

  • Design, build, and optimize automated customer journeys, workflows, and trigger-based campaigns across email and related digital channels

  • Own end-to-end email campaign execution, including B2B segmentation, personalization, messaging strategy, testing, and scheduling

  • Partner with marketing, sales, analytics, and technology teams to align automation programs with broader campaign and business objectives

  • Define and refine audience segmentation, lead scoring models, and data usage strategies in collaboration with stakeholders

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance and customer behavior to identify trends and optimization opportunities

  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing across subject lines, creative, messaging, timing, and workflows to improve performance

  • Support implementation and ongoing optimization of marketing automation platforms, ensuring data quality, compliance, and best practices

  • Manage quality assurance and test emails, landing pages, and automated programs to ensure accuracy, deliverability, and performance

  • Maintain documentation for automation workflows, campaign standards, and email best practices

  • Ensure CRM and marketing database accuracy through ongoing data hygiene and governance practices

  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in email marketing, automation, and customer experience

  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation, data, and system integration issues to maintain campaign continuity

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Proven experience contributing to go-to-market (GTM) marketing strategies in a B2B environment

  • Strong working knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Eloqua) and CRM systems such as Salesforce

  • Deep understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability, segmentation, personalization, compliance, and lifecycle messaging

  • Experience with customer journey mapping and lifecycle-based marketing strategies

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations

  • Experience configuring automation logic, triggers, and business rules within campaign workflows

  • Effective project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement

  • Experience managing audience segmentation and data within a CRM environment (e.g., Salesforce), with a solid understanding of CRM–automation integrations.

  • Demonstrated expertise in email best practices, deliverability, and data privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR)

  • Working knowledge of email and landing page design, including basic HTML and CSS

  • Experience analyzing campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, reporting dashboards, and tag management systems

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, marketing automation, or digital marketing strategy required

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or similar) required

  • Marketing automation certifications preferred

  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare or financial services) preferred

**Hybrid Schedule: In office 3 days per week.

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $72,500 to $96,500 annually.
