Job Description

The Evening Cook plays a key role in delivering safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals to residents and patients, in alignment with GORH’s Food Safety Plan and food safety regulations. This role involves coordinating evening meal service, ensuring all kitchen operations meet compliance and quality expectations and preparing and cooking meals as required.

 

Responsibilities also include setting up and cleaning food service areas, performing general kitchen cleaning and hygiene tasks.

 

As an integral member of the Food Services/Catering team, the Evening Cook contributes to person-centred care by considering individual dietary needs and preferences in meal preparation and service.
