Job Description

Introduction:
Lineage is the world’s largest and most innovative provider of temperature-controlled logistics – we help move food from farms to the dinner table, with more than 25,000 employees across over 400 locations and spanning 20 countries across the globe.
We are currently looking for a Site Manager – to lead our sites in Bieniewo-Parcela. These sites have a team of 100 employees with a combined space of 50,000 pallets. This role is reporting directly into the Operations Director for Poland.
The role
You will take full accountability at both sites, providing direction to all departments and shifts to ensure we are providing a great service to our customers and meeting all their requirements whilst working safely, productively and in accordance with company working procedures.
You will engage and motivate teams and managers at site, ensuring that we are creating a strong performance but also a rewarding culture for our employees.
Role overview:
· Responsibility for maintaining Safety, health, legal requirements and quality standards on site
· Effective management of the team, including motivating, delegating tasks, developing skills, knowledge and competencies, and building and maintaining employee commitment and engagement
· Responsible for budget planning and full P&L for both sites
· Standardise and optimise operational processes and implement best practices in the operating unit
· Analysis, definition of operational indicators KPIs and supervision of their effective implementation in terms of productivity, quality, timeliness and costs
· Supervision of the maintenance of the technical condition of the entrusted property through effective cooperation with the Technical Department, external suppliers and services in the field of maintenance and repair of machinery and infrastructure
· Cooperating with other support functions in the company in order to properly, timely and efficiently perform tasks in the unit and to achieve strategic objectives for the unit and the company
· Supporting the Sales Department in the acquisition of new customers, the negotiation of contractual terms and conditions, and the initial drafting of contracts
· Analysis and identification of investment needs in the subordinate unit, including: machinery and equipment, repairs, changeovers, investment costs, demand for utilities and external services, and supervision of their effective implementation

We are seeking someone who is comfortable in being the single point of accountability at site. You will be a strong people focused leader, who understands that success is built by getting the best from our colleagues at site and that is focused on continues improvement.
To thrive in this role, you'll ideally need:
· A proven experience in a management position fully responsible for managing a site
· Experience in coaching, building and developing a strong, motivated and committed team and the ability to delegate responsibility
· Experience of leading teams through managers (Ideally 100+ teams)
· Strong commercial awareness to be accountable for the site’s P&L
· Previous experience working in a similar role in warehousing, temperature control and 3PL experience would be highly beneficial but not a must
· Can help manage change and transformation – such as implementing new processes or systems
· Strong analytical skills, managing reports and used to working in Power BI
· Fluent in Polish and good communication skills in English
