Position Overview

The KAM Digital & E-commerce will be responsible for defining, executing, and driving the commercial strategy for all digital channels across Eli Lilly’s portfolio in Mexico, including e-commerce platforms, telehealth providers, digital health ecosystems, and super apps.

This role combines strategic thinking, commercial leadership, and execution excellence, ensuring strong partnerships with key digital customers while accelerating patient access, conversion, and adherence through innovative digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Development & Channel Growth

  • Define and lead the end-to-end digital & e-commerce strategy for Lilly’s portfolio in Mexico.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across:
    • E-commerce marketplaces (e.g., pharmacy chains, pure players)
    • Telehealth platforms
    • Digital health ecosystems
    • Super apps and emerging channels
  • Develop channel-specific business plans, including revenue targets, growth drivers, and KPI frameworks.
  • Ensure integration with brand strategies, commercial programs, and omnichannel initiatives.

2. Commercial Management & Key Account Leadership

  • Act as primary point of contact and strategic partner for key digital accounts.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, terms, and joint business planning (JBP) with partners.
  • Build long-term partnerships focused on:
    • Revenue growth
    • Patient acquisition and retention
    • Digital experience optimization
  • Monitor performance and ensure delivery against sales, activation, and conversion targets.

3. Execution Excellence & Program Implementation

  • Lead the execution of digital campaigns, product launches, and promotional strategies within e-commerce platforms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with:
    • Marketing
    • Medical
    • Compliance
    • IT / Digital teams
    • Finance and Supply

4. Data & Performance Management

  • Define and track KPIs such as:
    • Sales performance
    • Traffic, conversion rates, and basket size
    • Customer acquisition and retention
  • Leverage data to generate insights and optimize:
    • Channel performance
    • Campaign effectiveness
    • Customer journeys
  • Develop dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders.

5. Innovation & Digital Ecosystem Development

  • Identify and pilot new business models in digital health and e-commerce.
  • Explore partnerships with emerging platforms (telemedicine, super apps, healthtech startups).
  • Drive test & learn agenda to continuously improve digital channel performance.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in digital commerce and healthcare innovation.

6. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all activities comply with:
    • Local regulations (COFEPRIS)
    • Internal compliance and promotional guidelines
  • Work closely with legal, regulatory, and compliance teams to enable compliant innovation.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in:
    • Key Account Management, Sales, or Trade Marketing
  • Proven track record in:
    • E-commerce and/or digital commerce
    • Retail or CPG environments (highly preferred)
  • Experience managing:
    • Large accounts or strategic partnerships
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Digital customer journeys
    • Marketplace dynamics and online conversion drivers
  • Experience in healthcare/pharma is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Proficient English is a must
