Key responsibilities
Strategy & Business Leadership
- Define and execute the regional importers strategy aligned with overall Hiab and Group objectives
- Drive sustainable growth through clear prioritization of markets, segments, and partners
- Identify and capture new business opportunities across existing and new markets
- Ensure a strong customer-centric and lifecycle value approach across all importer activities
Financial Performance & Growth
- Own full P&L accountability for the importers business
- Deliver consistent revenue growth, margin expansion, and profitability targets
- Drive accurate forecasting, demand planning, and performance tracking
- Implement corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded
Importer Network Management & Development
- Develop, manage, and continuously optimize a high-performing importer network
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new importers in strategic markets
- Drive structured performance management with clear KPIs, governance, and accountability
- Actively manage underperformance, including capability development, restructuring, or discontinuation when required
- Build importer capabilities to execute both equipment and service-led business models
Commercial Excellence, Portfolio & Lifecycle Services Expansion
- Drive sales growth across the full Hiab portfolio, ensuring balanced penetration beyond core equipment
- Develop importers to actively sell and promote lifecycle services, including: Service and maintenance contracts, Spare parts and upgrades, Digital solutions and connected services
- Ensure importers adopt a lifecycle sales approach, maximizing customer value and recurring revenue streams
- Strengthen go-to-market execution, pricing discipline, and sales effectiveness across all offerings
Leverage market and business intelligence to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Operational Excellence
- Ensure efficient and scalable operations across the importers business
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and ways of working
- Collaborate cross-functionally (supply chain, service, finance, digital, etc.) to enhance performance
- Maintain high standards in safety, compliance, and quality Market Intelligence & Insights
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Translate insights into actionable strategies and business decisions
- Utilize data-driven approaches to guide growth, portfolio expansion, and service penetration
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing regional team
- Foster strong collaboration across global and regional functions with Equipment divisions/BUs and Services BU, including digital services& accessories
- Build and maintain senior relationships with key importers and partners
- Act as a key representative of the importers business within the organization
