Step into a pivotal Finance Manager role where your insights shape NRMA Insurance business performance and influence real decisions. You’ll lead a talented team and partner closely with senior stakeholders to bring clarity to complex financial outcomes. This is more than reporting. This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne).
What You'll Do
- Lead and coach a team of analysts and senior analysts, building capability, clarity and confidence in delivering high quality financial insights
- Deliver end-to-end financial analysis across premiums, claims and expenses, translating data into clear performance storylines and actionable recommendations
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders to provide trusted advisory support on business decisions, opportunities and emerging risks
- Bring together insights across portfolios to create a holistic view of performance and identify key drivers, trends and improvement opportunities
- Drive forecasting, budgeting and performance management processes, ensuring robust assumptions and clear commentary on outcomes
- Promote a collaborative, hands-on culture that balances technical rigour with commercial thinking and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
- Experience in finance, ideally within insurance, financial services or a complex commercial environment
- Strong ability to translate financial data into clear insights for senior stakeholders
- Proven people leadership or coaching capability, with a passion for developing others
- Commercial mindset with curiosity to understand drivers of performance and business outcomes
- Effective communication skills with confidence influencing and partnering with senior leaders
- Passion for being hands-on and solving problems, balancing detail with big picture thinking
