DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

Responsibilities

  • Grow our Extreme Networks account.
  • Understand where the vendor complements the partner\’s existing portfolio.
  • Promote complementary vendor solutions and articulate the Exclusive Networks value proposition.
  • Work to achieve individual and team targets against agreed profit requirements.
  • Act as the key contact for Extreme Networks within Exclusive Networks, developing relationships at all levels of the vendor organization and acting as an extension of the vendor.
  • Train and enable Extreme Networks ensuring any accreditations are maintained.
  • Lead annual and quarterly business planning and review meetings with the vendor.
  • Manage key accounts alongside the Exclusive Networks sales team.
  • Work closely with the internal and external sales teams to set and coordinate partner meetings.
  • Manage vendor reporting including sales, pipeline and performance reports 
  • Taking responsibility for the order placement process with the vendor
  • Manage and track vendor certifications and accreditation

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

  • Have 3+ years of proven sales experience.
  • Have drive and enthusiasm to develop sales and grow the business unit.
  • Proven ability to form, build and farm relationships, network effectively and intelligently.
  • Be target driven and have experience working to KPIs that map to the business goals.
  • Be highly motivated, with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Knowledge of the IT channel and commercial challenges for distribution.
  • Have experience presenting to senior level contacts.
  • Be articulate with a clear communication style and strong presentation skills.
