Job Description
How you do this? As senior operational excellence manager, you work on strategic, site across improvement programmes and guide teams in achieving operational and cultural change. You work closely with BU management, site managers and our international OE organisations. You achieve this by:
· translating and rolling out global Operational Excellence programmes (including Xsite and Lean Six Sigma) into local strategies and site plans;
· initiating, guiding and delivering strategic improvement projects and cross site initiatives;
· embedding a culture of continuous improvement through training, workshops, coaching and identifying improvement potential (including via value stream mapping);
· implementing and maintaining operational standards within Contract Logistics, and encouraging knowledge sharing and best practices between sites;
· demonstrably improving performance through Lean Six Sigma by delivering Yellow Belt training, coaching Green Belts and executing complex Green/Black Belt projects.
