Job Description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Lead NPD (New Part Development) for STA – Casting and Machining components
- Conduct drawing study, manufacturing feasibility, and understand functional requirements; identify suppliers and lead technical discussions; manage TSO, FTG planning, and PPAP
- Perform casting simulation and feasibility for GDC, LPDC, HPDC; define acceptance criteria, machining and painting processes
- Execute tool kick-off and ensure development milestones in line with programme timelines
- Define FTG requirements, review with suppliers, and finalize FTGs
- Define DVPs, ensure DVP sign-off, and conduct validation at supplier end
- Drive closure of build concerns through improvement actions at supplier end
- Resolve critical quality issues
- Ensure capacity readiness as per projected volumes
