About The Role

We have an immediate requirement for an Administrative Assistant to join our personal insurance team. We are looking for a strong team player who is detailed oriented, has an ability to multitask, organized enjoys working with people in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Manager, Personal Insurance.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain expertise of EPIC Broker Management System.

  • Deliver the highest standard of review and processing of New Business and Remarket policies within EPIC and Carrier partner systems.

  • Engage with team daily to drive productivity and troubleshoot for issue resolution.

  • Display strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Work cohesively with team to achieve desired results with daily tasks and responsibilities while adhering to HUB Standards.

  • Display strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

  • Offer robust analytical, logical, and technical support to our service and sales teams.

  • Provide prompt and accurate solutions to daily queries, both internal and external.

  • Demonstrate high level of initiative to drive results and improvements.

  • Complete activity input and reconciliation for New Business and remarkets in a timely fashion.

  • Generate client communication and follow-up activity welcoming clients to HUB.

  • Back up service support division as required.

  • Training and mentorship of fellow team members.

  • Supportively assist, participate, and contribute to workflows, processes, and meetings.

  • Other duties as required.

 

What You’ll Need for Success

 

  • High School Diploma

  • A minimum of one year experience within a data entry, administrative or customer service role an asset

  • Experience with EPIC broker management system or a similar system an asset

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Detail-oriented, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills

  • High level of organization and ability to effectively manage high-volume of work on delivered deadlines.

The expected salary range for this position is $36,000 to $43,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
