The »Fabrication – Research and Development« department forms the core of the technological implementation of research and development projects in microsystems technology and power electronics. It combines the planning and creation of manufacturing instructions and the execution of MES-controlled manufacturing in the cleanroom, as well as the maintenance and needs-based expansion of its semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
The »Process Development and Manufacturing« group develops and optimizes individual manufacturing processes on industrial semiconductor equipment for the production of micromechanical and power electronic components on Si, glass, and GaN substrates in a cleanroom. This includes continuous monitoring and analysis of process quality and results.
