JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Advisor 3 – APP Compensation serves as a strategic compensation partner supporting Advanced Practice Provider compensation programs across the organization in Dallas. This role leverages analytical expertise, operational excellence, healthcare compensation knowledge, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure compensation strategies align with organizational goals, market competitiveness, and internal equity.
This position partners closely with executives, operational leaders, finance, and physician/APP leadership to develop, evaluate, implement, and administer compensation programs, policies, and procedures supporting APPs. The role provides strategic consultation, leads complex compensation initiatives, performs market and financial analyses, and drives data-informed decision-making while ensuring compliance, consistency, and sound compensation governance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- Develop and manage client relationships, including identifying, planning, documenting, and delivering compensation services for Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs).
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executives and leadership on APP compensation design, market competitiveness, and pay program strategy.
- Conduct complex compensation and financial analyses, including market pricing, blended median calculations, specialty mapping, internal equity reviews, and ad hoc modeling.
- Analyze compensation trends and interpret market data to support recommendations and informed decision-making.
- Lead and support administration of compensation programs including annual compensation reviews, incentive programs, bonus verification, and specialized pay programs.
- Support implementation and administration of compensation programs such as call pay, leadership stipends, specialty-based compensation structures, and other strategic pay initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis and support related to incentive plans, including budget planning for Short Incentive Plans (SIP) and Annual Incentive Plans (AIP).
- Develop, standardize, and maintain compensation policies, procedures, guidelines, and pay practices for APP populations.
- Lead or support implementation of new compensation structures and ranges for specialized clinical roles and regions.
- Manage approval workflows, including HRC tickets and issue triage, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to policies.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and clinical leadership on compensation-related initiatives and projects.
- Lead or contribute to complex compensation projects while ensuring compliance, operational accuracy, and effective execution.
- Communicate complex compensation concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to compensation systems, processes, and operational effectiveness.

Preferred Work Experience
- 4+ years of related experience in compensation, finance, healthcare operations, or strategic financial analysis.
- Experience supporting provider or Advanced Practice Provider compensation strongly preferred.
- Experience in healthcare systems, policy and procedure development, and operational/financial analysis preferred.
- Experience working with executive leadership and managing complex strategic projects preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - Bachelor's- Preferred Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
