Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Manage a group of direct labors (Assemblers/Test Technicians) that run shifts in production area(s) to meet Safety & Quality requirements, production goals, and cost objectives within a cross-matrixed and global organization.

  • Enforce Safety & Quality regulations and protocols, conduct Safety & Quality audits, lead Safety & Quality related investigations.

  • Manage and allocate resources accordingly, manage & evaluate team performance, provide coaching and mentorship, fostering team-oriented environment.

  • Identify areas for improvement in production processes & implement strategies to enhance efficiency.

  • Prepare shiftly reports, chair production related meeting/huddle and communicate production status to upper management.

  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve production related challenges for example Safety/Quality issues, downtime, material shortages.

  • Proficiency in 8D and why-why write up, SAP usage.

  • Frequently interacts with subordinates, internal stakeholders and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas.

  • Provides clear expectations and regular feedback specific to performance management to develop employees.
