Who we’re looking for
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or Physics or related field
- Basic understanding and working knowledge of plasma-based Semiconductor deposition processes such as Plasma Enhanced Atomic Layer Deposition (PEALD), Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)
- Familiarity with ion/radical transport, sheath behavior, and plasma–surface interaction mechanisms
- Experience with scientific programming or data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
- Strong ability and understanding of AI/ML concepts and hybrid physics-based AI/ML modeling software
- General understanding of uncertainty quantification, Gaussian process regression, Bayesian optimization and probabilistic machine learning
- Ability to connect modeling outputs with experimental process engineering
- Excellent communication skills in English, ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Excellent people skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners
