Job Description
What you’ll do
- Effectively use instructions and schematics, hand tools, equipment, and fixtures to assemble and install parts/hardware for WFE.
- Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities, including rework requirements to maintain workflow and production schedules.
- Ensure correct part delivery and performs visual inspection of components before installation.
- Perform audits by conducting visual inspection, verifying checklists, performing leak checks, and document findings.
- Cross-train in multiple work centers (e.g., Final Assembly, Sub Assembly, Feeder Bay, Preship, NPI).
- Train other assemblers on specific job functions and mentor them on continuous improvement behaviors.
- Identify, document, and disposition Non-Conformance Items (NCIs), assisting with troubleshooting, and escalate to engineering as needed.
- Review and suggest recommended improvements to work instructions.
- Support a safe work environment by following safe work practices, adhering to safety guidelines, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following Lockout Tagout (LOTO) policies and procedures.
- Provide timely clear communication to stakeholders including production status, tasks completed, signoffs, detailed descriptions, continuous improvement ideas, and shift pass downs.
