Your New Role:
As part of the integrated SAP analytics and reporting team, this role will be responsible for SAC reporting, planning and Business Objects (BO) shared services across the enterprise with diverse data sources such as SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BDC, ECC, S4 Hana, IBM DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, and others. This role will deploy, development and support integration onboarding of business applications into a shared multi-tenant global SAC reporting, planning and Business Objects (BO) environment while enforcing best practices and policies on all deployed objects and platform. This role will coordinate directly with systems, software engineers and architects to implement solution designs in a large complex worldwide enterprise

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SAC Stories and models with focus on usability and performance.
• Develop and configure planning models, data actions, allocations, and forecasting scenarios.
• Perform data modelling, blending, and cross-calculations within SAC.
• Implement version management, data locking, and audit trail mechanisms.
• Utilize SAC Calendar for workflow and collaboration.
• Familiarity with BEx queries, BW structures, and broadcasting.
• Implement live and import data models using Datasphere and SAC best practices.
• Leverage SAC Smart Features such as Smart Discovery and Smart Insights to deliver business insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain reports using Web Intelligence (WebI) and Crystal Reports 2020/2025
• Develop and optimize Universes (UNX) using Information Design Tool (IDT)
• Work with different data sources including SAP BW, HANA, ECC, and relational databases.
• Implement report-level and universe-level security and authorizations
• Develop and support reports using Analysis for Office (AO).
• Integrate SAC and AO reporting solutions for finance and planning use cases.
• Design, develop, and implement modern data analytics strategies and solutions, helping Business Users transition from on-premise SAP BW to SAP Business Data Cloud (Datasphere, HANA Cloud, SAC).
• Tracking, troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of End User incidents and tickets; resolves customer issues within the service level agreements

Participates in and contribute to the implementation of best industry practices

Qualifications & Experiences:

• Eight (5) or more years in BO Development of Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform to include 4.3/BI 2025 software version.
• Five (5) or more year’s total experience developing and supporting enterprise-class applications in SAC reporting and planning.
• Experience with integrating BO, SAC and SACP with multiple SAP-based platforms (ECC; BW; CRM; S/4 HANA; BW/4 HANA; SCM; GRC; Fiori and SAP Portal; etc)
• Experience in working with planning models, data actions, allocations, and forecasting scenarios in SAC Planning.
• Should have exposure to SAC story design, Smart Features (Smart Discovery, Smart Insights).
• Strong experience in developing complex Universes, Webi and Crystal reports.
• Should have good knowledge on implementing report-level and universe-level security and authorizations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal to include translating complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical parties.
• Ability to provide clear communication to senior management on issue identification and resolution
• Leverage business knowledge and understanding to translate complex business analysis and reporting requirements into technical designs.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Understanding of SAP applications and its functionalities is an added advantage.
• Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively.
• Must be able to work well under time constraints.
• Willingness to learn new technologies at an accelerated pace.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned.
• Must be service-oriented.
• Must be able to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, when necessary.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality

Not required but Preferred Experience:

• Corporate Information Security and/or Cyber Security certification
• SAP BO Administrator and/other certifications
• Knowledge of Entertainment Industry and business applications is an added advantage
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience with authentication applications such as OKTA, Windows Active Directory, and Single Sign On
• Oral/Written fluency in Other Non-English languages
• Exposure to Predictive Analytics in SAC.
• Knowledge of Java scripting, Cursor or advanced analytics.
