JOB SUMMARY

Acrisure is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to support underwriting and insurance operations through data entry, endorsement processing, billing support, and customer service activities. This role plays an important part in maintaining workflow efficiency and ensuring insurance transactions and policy documentation are processed accurately and timely.

In this role, you will assist with new business submissions, policy changes, endorsements, rating activities, and administrative support functions while working closely with underwriters, clients, and finance companies. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail oriented, and interested in building experience within the insurance industry.

Commercial insurance experience is beneficial but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Process endorsements and policy changes for existing insurance policies
  • Support new business submissions, billing activities, and policy issuance functions
  • Prepare information needed for new and renewal business processing
  • Update finance agreements and related documentation
  • Initiate requests for missing information from clients and outside sources
  • Enter and maintain accurate information within multiple systems and software platforms
  • Assist with rating, policy issuance, and endorsement processing activities
  • Answer incoming calls and assist clients with service related questions and requests
  • Organize and maintain accurate electronic records and documentation
  • Support additional administrative and operational projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer and typing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Comfortable learning new software systems and processes
  • Familiarity navigating internet-based systems and web browsers
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Positive, customer-focused mindset
  • Previous office, administrative, customer service, or insurance experience beneficial
  • Commercial insurance experience beneficial

Education and Licenses

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Additional education or coursework beneficial

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
