Purpose

Support the sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and performance management of logistics service providers for Opex and Capex activities, ensuring compliant and competitive outcomes for projects and operations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the sourcing and contracting strategy of services related to Opex and Capex logistics activities.
- Compile market analysis to understand trends, assess risks and opportunities, and communicate insights to Supply Chain Management.
- Define, together with Logistics Managers and Project/Operations counterparts, the requirements and scope of services for contracts.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), including required technical, commercial, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) documentation.
- Maintain an accurate RFQ tracker (status, milestones, clarifications, evaluations, award recommendations, and proper filing of supporting documentation).
- Coordinate Logistics Service Providers’ qualification processes in line with company requirements.
- Expedite RFQs, coordinate technical and commercial clarifications, and manage communications throughout the bidding phase.
- Negotiate with Logistics Service Providers to obtain the best commercial conditions for goods and services.
- Coordinate with Legal and Contract teams to negotiate General Terms & Conditions, Special Terms & Conditions, and SLAs; manage deviations and deploy Frame Agreements across stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPRs) and follow up agreed action plans.
- Analyze spend, consolidate commercial proposals, and identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.
- Participate in commercial proposals during the WIN/execution handover phase.
Education
- Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent degree.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and/or services contracting, preferably in an international environment.
- Strong logistics/freight forwarding knowledge, including transport modes (air, sea, road, rail), related documentation, Incoterms, customs and import/export processes, and dangerous goods regulations.
- Proven experience in RFQ management, commercial evaluation (CBE/TBE), and negotiation of Frame Agreements.
- Strong analytical skills with very good proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Familiar with purchasing regulations, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
