Job Summary
As a Landfill Laborer, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the landfill site, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards. This role is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy physical work and are committed to maintaining a clean and safe worksite.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily landfill operations to maintain a safe and efficient site
- Pick up windblown debris and maintain cleanliness of landfill property
- Direct vehicle traffic to appropriate dumping areas when needed
- Perform general labor duties such as sweeping, shoveling, and site maintenance
- Operate small equipment or tools as trained
- Follow all safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations
- Communicate effectively with equipment operators, drivers, and supervisors
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
