Postdoctoral Researcher – Smart Manufacturing Engineering
Location: Monterrey Campus

What will you do?
The successful candidate will be engaged in: writing of scientific articles, development of funding proposals and the generation of knowledge through applied scientific research in manufacturing engineering and related areas. The candidate will be working in close collaboration with Dr. Pedro Daniel Urbina Coronado at the main project Digital Twin development for smart manufacturing applications.
Your main challenges will be:
Development of simulations (FEA) and digital twins
Mechanical design and mechatronic integration
Additive and sustractive manufacturing skills
Work with IoT and automation
What are we looking for?
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and related.
- Strong scientific production (JCR Journals and/or international conferences)
- Experience in managing students
- Excellent oral and writing skills in English.
