What you’ll do:
The Institutional Coordinator is responsible for coordinating administrative functions related to institutional and program accreditation across all residency and fellowship programs. This role serves as a key liaison for accreditation standards, regulatory compliance, and licensure requirements, ensuring all programs meet applicable guidelines while supporting over 60 training programs and 600+ residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Accreditation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with accreditation bodies, regulatory standards, and Medicare requirements; maintain accurate program data and conduct regular audits of trainee files.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including compliance tracking, documentation, and system updates.
- Licensure Support: Review licensure applications, monitor regulatory changes, and serve as a resource for trainees and program staff.
- Data Management & Verification: Maintain accurate records in residency management systems and support verification requests for internal and external stakeholders.
- Training & Education: Develop and deliver training for departmental coordinators; maintain standardized resources and support continuous education initiatives.
- Program Monitoring: Track submission of accreditation materials, respond to inquiries, and coordinate required reporting for review committees.
- Communication & Support: Act as a central point of contact for program inquiries, providing guidance and ensuring timely completion of requirements.
- Orientation Coordination: Plan and execute institutional orientation programs, including logistics, materials, and compliance tracking for incoming trainees.

What you’ll need for this job:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required (Business or Education preferred)
- 1–2 years of related experience required; 3–5 years preferred
- Experience in Graduate Medical Education (GME) strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Compensation:
Pay Range: $26.83- $41.59 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
