Job Overview
Perform daily activities as they relate to glassware processing and autoclave sterilization activities. Always ensuring the associated laboratory spaces are well
organized, and in compliance with site procedures, site proper health and safety requirements and cGMP regulatory expectations. Follow cGMP documentation and processing of operational materials for cleaning of glassware and sterilization of dry goods and liquids to constantly meet the operational demand of the laboratories and ensure business continuity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage autoclave room activities including autoclaving, documentation, and disposal of laboratory trash.
• Perform proper washing and sterilization of laboratory glassware.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of autoclave and glassware lab spaces.
• Provide operational support duties such as delivery of clean and/or sterilized glassware to operational owners, media preparation, equipment monitoring, and administrative duties.
• Position may include parameter monitoring duties and general microbiology assay support during requalification events for equipment.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D)
• Experience: One to two years related experience. Experience in a laboratory support environment preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: None
• Other: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required. Use of a computer and Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
The pay for this position is $19.32 per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
