. The duties of the Cagewash Technician I are to maintain facility equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance on cagewash and autoclaves. You will also perform the following duties: Sanitize, maintain, and repair animal caging materials as needed. Ensure cagewash and animal holding facilities are kept in a clean and organized manner. Assist with the receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supply inventories. Prepare and submit required written records, charts, logs, and inventories. Actively interact with customers to resolve requests, inquiries, and complaints, and to provide technical assistance. Other duties will include general housekeeping, in addition to reviewing, comprehending and complying with all SOPs and quality assurance standards pertaining to specific areas. Job Description Experience and/or training working with mechanical equipment preferred. Obtain ALAT certification within 1 year of employment with HS Diploma/GED or within 2 years of employment if no HS Diploma/GED. The pay for this position is $20.25 USD per hour.
