Position Summary
As a Cycle Lead, you are a skilled cyclist that loves to group ride and knows about bike safety and communication. You will give our members great riding experiences by greeting all our riders before the ride, talk to the riders about the route and your groups pace, ride safety and guide them on a great ride. As a Cycle Lead, you are keeping our members connected to you and your program while continuing to build your cycle community.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets all riders when they come and greets all riders with they come back from their ride
- Plans the routes ahead of time to ensure preparation
- Creates a welcoming and friendly environment for the regular riders as well as for the new riders
- Collects all waiver forms for new participants
- Introduces and instructs the riders of the route and class objectives
- Establishes a pace to that all levels of riders feel a part of the group
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 or more years experience in cycling
- MTS (Heart Rate) training within 6 months of hire
- CPR and AED certified within 6 months of hire
- Solid presenting and communicating skills
Preferred Requirements
Level 1 Coaching Certification
Pay
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.25 and pays up to $20.50, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits
