Position Summary
The Senior Project Lead is an experienced Licensed Architect competent in all aspects of the practice of architecture. The position performs in a central role between Technical staff and Project managers on multiple projects at any given time. The role coordinates directly with outside consultants, receives technical guidance from supervisory roles and has the ability to take on Project Management responsibilities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads and directs architectural project teams including external consultants, during the design, development and construction administration phases of a project
- Partners and collaborates with team members in other divisions (Project Managers, Civil Managers, Development Managers) to ensure the successful outcome of all assigned projects
- Manages one-two large project per year and several small projects simultaneously including leading an internal project team and coordination of external consultants from schematic design through project completion
- Assists in the creation and development of prototypical details based on industry best-practices as well as internal preferences including constructability and desired aesthetic
- Prepares and manages architectural project budgets for assigned projects
Position Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture
- 5 years experience in Architecture
- 3 years experience in project management and construction administration
Preferred Requirements
- LEED Accreditation
- Experience with prototype and/or roll-out projects
- Completed IDP and in process of taking the ARE
Pay
This is a salaried position starting at $85,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $117,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits
