Release Train Engineer, Systems and Core Architecture

Ford is leading the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) transformation. The Systems and Core Architecture (SCA) team defines and delivers the foundational architecture that powers Ford's current and future vehicle platforms.

As the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for SCA, you will own the operating rhythm, coordination, and delivery health of the SCA Agile Release Train while managing a small team of Engineering Project Managers across diagnostics, networking, power controls, and cross-domain feature delivery.

This role sits at the intersection of scaled agile execution, people leadership, and technical systems program management. The most effective RTEs are strategic execution owners who develop the people and systems around them.

You will partner closely with engineering, product, validation, platform, and supplier teams to drive alignment, manage dependencies, and resolve risks at scale while ensuring your EPM team has the support and clarity to deliver.
