Job Description
- Act as a geotechnical technical specialist for offshore and marine infrastructure projects, contributing to engineering decisions from early concept to detailed design
- Interpret offshore site investigation data, including CPTu, boreholes, laboratory testing and marine geophysical surveys, and define geotechnical design parameters considering static, cyclic and long-term loading conditions
- Design and assess offshore foundation systems such as piles, suction caissons, anchors, mudmats and gravity-based solutions
- Identify and assess offshore geohazards including seabed instability, liquefaction, shallow gas, slope failure and scour
- Support the planning and execution of offshore geotechnical site investigations, including review of specifications and supervision of data acquisition when required
- Review and technically check third-party geotechnical deliverables
- Prepare and review technical documentation, calculations and reports in compliance with international offshore standards
- Interface with clients and collaborate with structural, marine, geophysical and environmental specialists within multidisciplinary teams
- Flexible working arrangements combined with project-driven travel, reflecting the nature of offshore engineering activities
