Back to jobsDevelop and update stability booklets, loading manuals, deadweight surveys, lightship checks and weight tracking.
Perform intact and damage stability calculations in accordance with IMO (SOLAS, 2008 IS Code), class society rules (DNV, LR, ABS, BV) and flag requirements.
Prepare class/flag submissions (incl. cross‑flooding, watertight integrity, escape routes, evacuation implications) and respond to comments.
Provide stability input to design teams during feasibility, concept and basic design phases.
Participate in dry‑dock and onboard surveys, performing measurements, inclining test support, and validation of as‑built conditions following Foreship’s site procedures, safety guidance and confidentiality rules.
Produce clear technical reports, booklets, regulatory matrices, and decision support documentation for clients and authorities.
Present stability assessments and advise shipyards/owners on compliance risks, margins, and operational limitations.
