Our logistics department has a well‑matured and dynamic position opening for a new colleague to join our team as an All‑round Logistics Employee. This role is based at our production site in Delft, the Netherlands, and starts with a one‑year contract, with the clear intention to transition to a permanent contract.

Reporting to the Site Logistics Manager

Reporting to the Site Logistics Manager (Ricardo), the All‑round Logistics Employee supports global shipping and all warehouse activities, including replenishment of production units through Kanban systems. The role combines administrative responsibilities with physical warehouse support (approximately 20–30% physical work).

This position is part of the logistics organization located in Delft and is on‑site. The site is located very close to the Delft Campus and in an office building. Your work location may not be what you expect – as it is definitely no a typical industrial warehouse setting.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Perform logistics administration, including goods receipt and stock control in the ERP system (Infor SyteLine).
• Store raw materials and components efficiently and help optimize warehouse space.
• Maintain and monitor accurate inventory levels.
• Support and perform cycle counts and wall‑to‑wall inventory counts.
• Provide hands‑on support to daily warehouse operations (around 20–30%).
• Ensure timely internal movement of materials to production teams to prevent stock‑outs.
• Assist with inbound and outbound deliveries with logistics service providers and courier partners.
• Actively contribute to Kaizen and continuous‑improvement initiatives (processes, labelling, storage, flow).
• Communicate and align with internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Production, Planning, Logistics Service Providers, and Finance.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Proven experience as an all‑round logistics employee in a warehouse or production environment, including working with an ERP system.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English (Dutch is preferred due to collaboration with production).
• A structured and accurate way of working, especially with small, high‑value items.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative and drive improvements.

Je rapporteert aan de Logistiek Manager

Je rapporteert aan de Logistiek Manager (Ricardo), die verantwoordelijk is voor wereldwijde verzending en alle magazijnactiviteiten, inclusief Kanban‑gestuurde bevoorrading van de productie.

De functie combineert administratieve werkzaamheden met fysieke magazijnactiviteiten (ongeveer 20–30% fysiek werk) en is on‑site in Delft. Je werklocatie is waarschijnlijk niet wat je ervan verwacht; ons magazijn zit in een kantoor gebouw vlakbij de Campus in Delft en is dus geen typisch industriele werklocatie. Dat betekend overigens wel weer dat je handig moet zijn om pallets door smalle gangen te bewegen.

Een werkdag ziet er ongeveer zo uit:

• Uitvoeren van logistieke administratie, waaronder goederenontvangst en voorraadmutaties in het ERP‑systeem (Infor SyteLine).
• Opslaan van grondstoffen en componenten op een efficiënte en gestructureerde manier.
• Controleren en bewaken van correcte voorraadniveaus.
• Ondersteunen bij cyclische en volledige voorraadtellingen.
• Fysieke ondersteuning van dagelijkse magazijnwerkzaamheden (circa 20–30%).
• Verzorgen van interne materiaalstromen richting productie om voorraadtekorten te voorkomen.
• Assisteren bij inkomende en uitgaande leveringen met logistieke dienstverleners en koeriers.
• Meedenken en bijdragen aan Kaizen‑initiatieven en procesverbeteringen.
• Afstemmen met interne stakeholders zoals Inkoop, Productie, Planning, Logistieke dienstverleners en Finance.

De essentiële vereisten voor deze functie zijn:

• Aantoonbare ervaring als allround logistiek medewerker in een magazijn‑ of productieomgeving, inclusief werken met een ERP‑systeem.
• Basiskennis van Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word en Excel).
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels (Nederlands heeft de voorkeur).
• Een nauwkeurige en gestructureerde manier van werken, met oog voor detail.
• Een proactieve houding en interesse in continue verbetering.
