Overview
Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars. Identifies, develops, manages and retains revenue-generating opportunities for the organization through the strategic and tactical sales and support of all product and service lines. Directly, or indirectly, manages the process from lead validation to product and services delivery, working with marketing, customer service, operations and delivery providers to ensure the highest level of supply chain management is delivered to customers.

Reporting to the Nordics and Distributors Northern Europe Commercial Leader, the Senior Account Manager is responsible for the specification and sales of Videojet’s coding and marking equipment portfolio—including industrial character inkjet, high-resolution case printing, thermal inkjet, and laser solutions. This role focuses on delivering the right solution for each customer application and involves close collaboration with sales, service, and marketing teams. The position is home-based with regular travel to customer sites.
Territory covered: Greater Area of Stockholm
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Securing and growing revenue within an assigned region by selling to both existing and new customers
- Leading sales activities using CRM tools (Salesforce.com) and performance metrics
- Conducting onsite equipment demonstrations and participating in regional/national trade shows
- Building strong customer relationships and identifying application-specific solutions
- Selling not only hardware but also finance and service agreements
- Traveling up to 40 days per year, with flexibility in planning customer visits and schedules
The essential requirements of the job include:
- College/University degree in Engineering, or Technical knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Account Management, ideally within multinational corporations
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- Willingness to travel up to 40 days per year (including nights away from home)
- Experience working with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com)
