IMPOWER is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at The Grove, our adolescent residential substance abuse treatment program serving youth ages 13-17. As part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, you will provide hands-on nursing care, support medical services, and help ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for the individuals we serve. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established medical and program protocols 
• Support admissions by completing health screenings, assessments, and follow-up care 
• Respond to medical concerns, provide first-line care, and coordinate referrals as needed 
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections; perform routine clinical procedures (vitals, labs, TB screenings, etc.) 
• Coordinate laboratory testing, review results, and communicate findings appropriately 
• Collaborate with the Medical Director, Clinical Director, program staff, and families regarding care and treatment needs 
• Assist with medication management, including preparation, administration, and MAR review 
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) 
• Promote a safe and sanitary environment through infection control practices 
• Provide health education and support to individuals served 
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings 
• Ensure compliance with all IMPOWER policies, HIPAA standards, and regulatory requirements 

Required Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Florida 
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program 
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills 
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or residential settings preferred
• Successfully complete a Level II background screening, local law check, and drug screen
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
