The Opportunity
This position works out of our Mexico City location in Corporate Human Resources area.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Execution and delivery of HR programs and services related to employee relations (ER). Responsible to provide professional ER guidance to employees’ leaders and employees to minimize a negative impact of labor matters, compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations and internal global policies.
What You’ll Do
- Provides orientation on labor relations matters to people leaders including people management and disciplinary processes such as Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) process, misconduct, workplace rules, among others.
- Execute employee terminations legal compliance on documentation and employee experience. Guarantee employee’s files according to process and exit interviews. Including process and review of required payments and documents with corresponding areas such as payroll.
- Planning and execution of programs and processes related to Employee Relations
- Identification of opportunities to improve labor practices and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with external labor consultants to ensure compliance with Mexican labor regulations and make,share recommendations to HR and management.
- Assist to develop and update policies, processes, guides, programs and tools applicable to align the organization in legal and regulatory compliance and Abbott’s standards. Support its communication, implementation and training across the company.
- Assist and participate on internal investigations related to personnel and regulatory compliance.
- Assist and analyze internal ER and HR metrics to share with HR for decision making.
- Contribute with proposals for preventive actions and process improvements to reduce labor conflicts and strengthen organizational environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachellor Degree
HR, Psychology, Administration, related fields
Experience Experience Details
- Minimum 4 years of experience in ER function
- Constructive and collaborative relationship with people leaders and co-workers.
- Knowledge and experience on employee relations matters.
- Knowledge of employment laws and local regulations
