Title and Summary

Staffing Manager EMEA - Analyst/Senior Analyst

The Services organization is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, test-and-learn business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. While specializing in the payments industry, the Services team also works closely with major retailers, airlines, and other enterprises, leveraging data and insights from within and beyond its network.

Within the Services organization, the Advisors & Client Services (A&CS) function is responsible for delivering our products and solutions to clients. A&CS combines professional problem-solving skills with deep segment and functional expertise to address client challenges and opportunities — enhancing Mastercard's strategic performance and reinforcing its global thought-leadership position.

The Staffing Manager ensures Advisors & Client Services has the right people on the right engagements at the right time. This role spans the full staffing lifecycle — from consolidating and prioritizing demand, to optimizing capacity and availability across markets, to managing bench visibility and driving operational excellence through disciplined processes, tools, and reporting.

Working closely with Cluster Leads, PEMs, PMs, People Managers, and Staffing colleagues across the EMEA and Global staffing region, the Staffing Manager partners with leadership to align staffing decisions with business priorities and employee development goals. With a strong understanding of our business and a commitment to keeping people at the center of all decisions, this role enables effective execution of strategy, maximizes client outcomes, optimizes team utilization, and fosters an exceptional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Management & Resource Allocation
• Consolidate, prioritize, and allocate resources across tracks and markets, ensuring balanced team structures and alignment with engagement requirements.
• Own the triage and escalation process when competing demand arises across practice areas or markets, facilitating structured decision-making with senior stakeholders.
• Manage smooth transitions as team members roll on and off engagements, ensuring continuity of delivery and minimal disruption to both clients and staff.

Capacity & Bench Management
• Maintain accurate, real-time data on skills, levels, and availability across the EMEA cluster to enable proactive resource planning.
• Proactively manage bench visibility, minimizing unplanned availability gaps and ensuring individuals on the bench are assigned to productive activity (training, internal projects, pipeline support).
• Own short-term (weekly) and medium-term (pipeline/90-day) demand forecasting to support leadership planning and financial targets.

Operational Excellence & Reporting
• Execute staffing processes using internal tools (Salesforce/PSA, Tableau, Confluence) throughout the full engagement lifecycle.
• Own and run the staffing rhythm: weekly staffing calls, monthly capacity reviews, and relevant governance forums — ensuring a consistent, high-quality operating cadence.
• Provide timely insights and reporting on utilization, capacity, and staffing KPIs to support leadership decision-making.
• Continuously improve staffing processes, remove bottlenecks, and contribute to tool upgrades or system enhancements where applicable.

Stakeholder Collaboration
• Collaborate with staffing peers globally to ensure consistency, efficiency, and knowledge-sharing across weekly staffing cycles.
• Navigate EMEA-specific complexity, including time zone differences, regional public holidays, and any market-specific constraints that affect staffing decisions.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders, balancing pragmatism with firmness in prioritization conversations.

People & Development
• Align staffing decisions with individual career growth trajectories, learning opportunities, and capability-building goals.
• Participate in strategic initiatives and cross-functional workstreams aimed at enhancing staffing processes, tools, and overall organizational effectiveness.

Skills & Experience:

Essential

• 3–6 years of experience in professional services or consulting resource management, workforce planning, or related operations.
• Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders; strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong data and metrics orientation: utilization analysis, demand forecasting, KPI tracking and reporting.
• Experience owning or facilitating staffing governance forums (weekly standups, capacity reviews, escalation calls).
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, iterative environments with evolving priorities.
• Exposure to cross-regional staffing in a global consulting context; understanding of professional services economics (utilization, leverage, bench cost).
• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance pragmatism and firmness in prioritization decisions.

Preferred

• Experience with staffing tools and systems, ideally including Salesforce, PSA, Tableau, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with EMEA market dynamics, including regional holiday calendars, time zone management, and local workforce considerations.
• Experience contributing to systems implementation, tool improvements, or PSA configuration projects.

Corporate Security Responsibility
