Job Description
In this role, you will lead on preparation of proposals, budgets and contracts for clinical studies, regulatory services, and other support to life science industries.
This permanent, full-time position is open at our offices in Sweden (Uppsala, Stockholm, Lund).
The Contracts & Proposals team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Contracts & Proposals Manager. In this role, you will lead on preparation of proposals, budgets and contracts for clinical studies, regulatory services, and other support to life science industries.
Key Responsibilities
Lead proposal, budgeting, and contracting activities in close collaboration with Business Development, Operational Teams, and external partners.
Responsible for quality control of proposal, budget and contractual documents that will be distributed to customers and vendors.
Working closely with Business Development, liaising with customers throughout the proposal and contracting process including participation in Bid Defense meetings.
Track progress of business opportunities in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Lead handover of awarded projects to Operational Teams and support management of ongoing projects.
All work is performed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, including ICH GxP, relevant guidelines, standards, and international and national legislation governing clinical drug and device development.
Experience & Qualifications
Academic degree in a relevant field; equivalent experience may compensate for formal education.
Relevant experience from a Contract Research Organisation (CRO), life sciences sector, or a related regulated environment.
Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive complex processes to completion.
Full fluency in English, written and spoken. In addition, fluency in a Nordic language is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office package, particularly Excel.
Experience with commercial negotiations is an advantage.
