Sun West School Division invites applications for a 1.0 F.T.E. Specialized Classroom Teacher in Westberry Elementary School, Kindersley, SK, starting August 26, 2026. 

Westberry Elementary School is seeking a compassionate, dynamic, and highly skilled teacher to join our specialized classroom program. This program is designed to support students who face complex behavioral challenges through a trauma-informed lens. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in trauma-sensitive practices and have experience in working with children who have diverse needs, including those with complex behavioral challenges. The Specialized Classroom Teacher will work closely with school leadership, staff, parents, and other professionals to provide high-quality, inclusive educational experiences for students while promoting a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment.

Westberry Elementary School is a Pre-K to Grade 4 school with 380 students for the 2026/27 school year. Kindersley is a diverse community and home to approximately 5,000 people. It has all the amenities and conveniences that a city has to offer but also being able to live the small town life. Kindersley has many opportunities for you to immerse yourself with volunteer work within the community. Westberry Elementary School is one of three schools within the community, the other two schools are a middle school and a high school.
