Project Manager – Defense, Space, and Critical Systems

At Cipherbit – Grupo Oesía, we are seeking a Project Manager to lead complex technology programs in the fields of Defense, Space, and Critical Systems, participating in strategic projects with a high technological component at our headquarters in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. The position requires a balanced combination of project leadership, technical vision, client liaison, and execution skills in advanced engineering environments. We are looking for candidates capable of working independently on complex programs, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the technical and operational evolution of the developed solutions. Your responsibilities: Lead engineering projects from the initial definition phases through validation and commissioning. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, integration, and validation teams. Manage planning, costs, risks, milestones, and contract compliance. Ensure technical and operational compliance of projects. Define, supervise, and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and project performance metrics. Prepare executive reports, financial monitoring, and variance analysis. Manage workload forecasts, resource planning, and cost and revenue trends. Identify technical and organizational risks, defining mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Serve as the primary point of contact with clients and industry partners. Coordinate requirements management, integration, and the technical evolution of solutions. Oversee the technical quality of deliverables and the proper execution of development plans. Participate in business development activities and the identification of new opportunities.
