We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Space Systems Engineer to join our team located in Englewood, CO. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the successful design, integration, and verification of GA-EMS developed SV constellations with their associated ground and launch systems.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the successful design, integration, and verification of GA-EMS developed SV constellations with their associated ground and launch systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sr Space Systems Engineer responsible for:
- Leading design and development of space system, segment and satellite subsystem design, integration and test.
- Applies systems engineering principles, including requirements development, verification, validation, and interface management.
- Interfaces with customers during program shaping, CONOPS development, Mission Architecture definition, and requirements derivation activities.
- Leads analysis and decomposition of system and subsystem requirements, and development of interface control documents.
- Applies basic technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned routine engineering problems.
- Prepares technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with all levels of program and engineering staff on design, integration and test matters and support other teams/disciplines as necessary.
- Establish collaborative work relationships with peers to ensure synergy across space, ground, and launch.
- Uses traditional and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches lead and contribute to the development all SE work products which may include:
- CONOPS
- System Architecture
- Requirements and Interface Control Documents
- Mission and System Analysis
- Trade Studies
- Opportunities will arise to support internal development and new business opportunities.
