Job Description

The Full-Time Lecturer in Computing and IT (FTL-CIT) is a part of the college academic management team who supports the College Principal to ensure the overall quality of learning and teaching and to support a high performance, service-oriented culture.

The FTL-CIT is responsible for providing teaching of selected modules in academic programs. This involves liaison with Academic Program Coordinators, Unit Coordinators, provide academic administrative support and academic leadership.

The FTL-CIT assists to effectively manage the delivery of teaching and learning and ensures the programs of responsibility are well-planned, managed, delivered and assessed. The role includes providing student academic advice, staff management and teaching.

Qualifications

Candidate must live and permitted to work in Sri Lanka.

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in the field pf Computing and IT.
  • Two years of post-qualification teaching experience is essential.
  • Good communication (spoken and written) in English.
  • Ability to work on weekends.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy relevant to the role.
