Regional Finance Operations Lead – Northern Europe

We are looking for a Regional Finance Operations Lead to act as the operational CFO for Northern Europe. In this role, you will ensure that finance operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with high quality across the region.

About the Role

You will lead finance operations across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, the Baltics, Poland, and the Czech Republic, working closely with country CFO:s, business leaders, Global Business Services (GBS), Outsourcing partner and Group Finance.

Based in Stockholm, you will lead the Regional Finance Center and play a key role in strengthening processes, improving cash flow, and ensuring strong financial control.

What You’ll Do

Own Finance Operations

• Take full ownership of finance operations across the region

• Ensure efficient and standardized processes within AP, AR, and Financial Control

• Manage and challenge GBS / outsourced partners

• Drive scalable and simplified ways of working

Ensure Control & Compliance

• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting

• Maintain strong internal controls and governance

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and audits

• Identify issues early and take action

Drive Cash & Working Capital

• Improve cash flow and working capital performance

• Follow up on receivables and strengthen collections

• Ensure timely and well-managed payments

Partner with the Business

• Support and challenge regional and local leadership

• Act as a key link between business, GBS, and Group Finance

• Provide clear insights to support decision-making

Lead & Improve

• Lead and develop finance teams in the regional center

• Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and engagement

• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency

Who You Are

You are a hands-on finance leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and isn’t afraid to take ownership.

You likely bring:

• A degree in Finance Accounting

• Previous auditor at one of the Big 4 audit firms

• Solid experience in finance operations and leadership roles

• Experience working across multiple countries or in a regional role

• Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance

• Experience with shared services or outsourced finance environments
