Junior Structural Designer

Your future role on our team: BBA has a new opportunity for a junior structural designer in our Concord or Toronto offices to support the delivery of technical expertise and structural design requirements within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This role will provide the successful candidate a wide range of challenging projects within heavy industry including traditional and diversified energy projects, wind and solar, mining, brownfield and greenfield projects. Plan and create detailed structural engineering drawings in both 2D and 3D design, taking designs from concept to final product while working collaboratively with engineers Adhere to established design guidelines and procedures Maintain accurate design files for reference Check 2D drawings and 3D models for clashes and constructability with other disciplines Interpreting complex drawings that incorporate interfacing structural design requirements with piping, mechanical, electrical and other aspects of industrial work Adapt to different client standards and design software
