You’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects. You’ll also help with sustaining and growth projects, working closely with BBA and client teams to delivery practical solutions to complex mining challenges. Ideally, you’ll be an underground mining professional with an interest in consulting and client engagement within the base and precious metals sector. Provide mining engineering and design services for underground mine studies, including scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, detailed design and NI 43-101 technical reports: Importing block models Selecting underground mining methods Calculating cut-off grades Optimizing underground stopes and developing mine designs Preparing mine plans and production schedules Calculating equipment fleets Evaluating mineral reserves Calculating capital and operating costs Contributing to financial models Writing and contributing to study reports Work closely with our geology, ventilation, rock mechanics, drill-and-blast and infrastructure teams Manage the mining scope of large projects Liaise with clients on technical matters and present results professionally Deliver high-quality services that uphold BBA’s professional reputation Mentor junior mining engineering staff
