EOC Intervention Teacher
Job Description
There are Summer School positions available to support students in grades 9-12 for Intervention prior to re-taking the End of Course Exams in Algebra 1 and English Language Artrs II.
EOC Intervention will be held at Mansfield Senior High.
Students who have scored below the competency score of 684 in Algebra 1 and English Language Arts II will be invited/required to attend.
Programs will be developed and delivered at the building using approved strategies and tools.

Overview
- Grant Funded / Hourly Contracted Rate $32.76
- Paid via completed and approved timesheets.
- Anticipated Hours = 50 Total
- Commitment includes instruction, planning, and completion of appropriate record keeping submitted to the Principal or Designee.
- Instruction will be delivered in person (preference) / Virtual for targeted students only.
- EOC Assessments will be supervised by the teacher.
- Staff must have a current/valid Ohio Department Teaching License for the grade bands they are supporting.

Teacher/Substitute Responsibilities:
- Instruction: Develop and deliver engaging lessons and activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of students needing intervention/remediation prior to re-taking the End of Course Assessment in Algebra 1 and English Language Arts II.
- Support and Guidance: Provide individualized support, feedback, and resources to help students succeed.
- Assessment: Assess student progress and mastery of course content, providing appropriate feedback and remediation.
- Communication: Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and any challenges or concerns.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and grades.
- Reporting: Regularly track and report student progress to the Principal.
- Discipline: Maintain high standards and provide tiered support as needed and outlined in the MCS Student Code of Conduct.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
- Intervention: Provide intervention and enrichment as needed to address individual student needs.
- Reporting: Regularly track and report student progress to the Director/Principal.
- Discipline: Maintain high standards of student conduct.
- Testing: Administer End of Course assessments during the state summer testing window.
