Our EPCM projects for semiconductor fabrication, battery cell manufacturing, life sciences, and chemical plants operate at the forefront of technology.
For the management of the construction site warehouse of a demanding, highly complex industrial project in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for an experienced and committed professional who consistently keeps a full overview of all activities.
Contractual home base: Flexible – any Drees & Sommer office in Germany, Belgium or Netherlands
Project location: in an EU neighboring country west of Germany (100% on‑site presence required)
- Responsibility for the setup, organization, and operation of construction site warehouses (including goods receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch)
- Ensuring efficient material flows between warehouse, construction site, and subcontractors
- Managing and monitoring deliveries, inventory levels, and storage capacities, taking schedule and project requirements into account
- Coordinating logistics service providers, suppliers, and internal project stakeholders
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with processes, quality, and safety standards in warehouse operations (including occupational safety)
- Supporting material and inventory controlling as well as documentation and tracking of deliveries and consumption
Qualifications
- Vocational training or degree in logistics, construction management, industrial engineering or comparable
- Several years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally on large construction or industrial projects
- Proven experience managing material flows on construction sites or in project-related logistics environments
- Structured, solution-oriented approach with strong coordination skills
- Confident use of IT systems (e.g. ERP, warehouse management systems)
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required; proficiency in German, Dutch, or French is a strong advantage
- Full willingness to travel for project-related work within Germany and Europe
