Job Description
| POSITION: | Special Education Teacher - Secondary Long Term Per Diem Substitute |
| LOCATION: | Central Bucks High School East |
| AVAILABLE: | May 14, 2026 - June 12, 2026 (dates are TBD) |
| COMPENSATION: | $200.00 p f/day if assignment is 10+ days |
| DESCRIPTION: | The successful candidate will have solid ability to prepare, direct and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes. Candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards. Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via CBSD. |
| REQUIREMENTS: | Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education 7-12 certification (content area certificate required for issuance). Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-12 (certificate discontinued 8/31/2013/content area certificate required). |
