We are seeking a results-driven Product Marketing Manager - Manufacturing, to help lead our GTM and positioning strategy for our manufacturing specific business applications.

This position is a highly strategic and impactful role for the company, responsible for building an effective growth strategy for driving both new software sales and expansion opportunities within our customer base. As the go-to-market leader, s/he will define our products value propositions and build the messaging and positioning that guide marketing campaigns and pipeline generation initiatives.

This role will also arm the sales organization with the knowledge and tools needed to improve pipeline conversion and win/loss ratios, deliver targeted sales plays and enablement, and partner closely with the product organization on bringing new solutions to market.

This position will have a heavy focus on ECI�s strategic positioning and storytelling, cross-functional alignment, portfolio management, and will require presenting updates clearly to executive stakeholders. The candidate will be required to establish a meaningful level of business understanding and industry domain expertise, our target markets, and ideal customer profile(s). This person will think strategically while also driving execution and managing team deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Build a coherent product and industry marketing GTM strategy

  • Create product and industry messaging frameworks

  • Define and build buyer personas

  • Coordinate cross functionality to prioritize and execute go-to-market initiatives

  • Deliver campaigns messaging, strategy, and offers strategy

  • Develop sales tools, playbooks, and sales enablement programs

  • Develop product-centric, customer-facing assets (e.g., pitch decks, brochures, product tours, ROI calculators, etc.)

  • Plan and manage product launches and all internal and external communications

  • Support integration of any relevant acquired companies (M&A)

  • Develop competitive positioning for product(s), including battlecards, win/loss analysis

  • Guide customer advocacy and customer use cases to validate our messaging

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing or business, or comparable education/experience

  • 5+ years product marketing experience for a B2B software company

  • Experienced with B2B sales, SaaS/Cloud software

  • Ideal candidate has experience with ERP applications, and/or manufacturing industry domain expertise

  • Compelling storyteller with a strategic and analytical mindset who can engage and educate customers and prospects

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, product management, demand gen, customer marketing, creative, PR

  • Ability to prioritize projects effectively, juggling multiple projects with tight deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, content writing, and presentation skills

  • Experience with sales enablement tools, competitive analysis tools

  • Willingness to embrace change and new technology tools, including AI

  • Growth, data-driven, and performance-driven mindset

  • Pragmatic Institute certification and/or MBA desirable
