Responsibilities
- Manage the inside sales specialist team to achieve results across various objectives, including revenue, GP, and customer count
- Lead key change management initiatives relating to compensation, sales organization structure, e-commerce, and market segmentation
- Managing the sales team and all sales activities within the company.
- Set and track sales targets for your team
- Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
- Motivating staff and leading the team to achieve sales targets.
- Interviewing and selecting new members of the sales team.
- Carrying out sales training with sales specialists and role playing sales techniques.
- Ensuring all administration for sales is completed effectively.
- Setting sales targets and activity around key performance indicators.
- Reporting on progress towards sales KPI’s.
- Cold calling customers and selling services and products
- Lead cross-functional projects
- Liaise with Marketing and Pricing, Procurement and other key cross - functional departments to ensure continue competitive presence and to increase sales
- Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts for a sales team within the division
- Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features and benefits to improve sales
- Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement, retention and loyalty
- Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met
- Build an open-communication environment for your team, and inspire people to achieve more than they may believe they can
