SUMMARY Customer and vendor facing inside sales role responsible for assigned accounts in a predetermined sales territory, including revenue, margin and share of revenue and breadth growth, through customer contact, sales and service; accountable for customer and vendor satisfaction, revenue generation, goal achievement and long-term business goals in line with D H’s vision, values, and initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for monthly sales goal attainment, including the achievement of revenue, margin and breadth goals Create business plans and conduct outbound activities daily with reseller base building relationships, sell and assist with opportunities Help sales Leadership execute D H business initiatives while balancing partner (customer / vendor) needs. Conduct sales team huddles as needed focused on communicating sales performance, customer support and vendor issues/initiatives. Work to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of D H systems, policies, and resources Assist Sales Leadership as needed/requested with feedback, guidance, and suggestions on projects, changes, and programs to grow the commercial sales channel at D H. Respond to customer requests in a timely manner Work with vendor reps and D H Business Units / Specialist sales teams to build vendor sales within zone and to grow the D H revenue and overall share of revenue within assigned accounts Attend sales and product training Attend reseller shows and events to meet with prospects in person , as needed Project a professional company image through customer and vendor interactions Ensure customer orders are processed accurately. Meet outbound and overall phone and MS Teams requirements along with Activity and Busy - ness rankings Use CRM system to track all customer contacts and activities, meeting notes including completing Business Portfolios for each assigned focus account Track and manage sales pipeline via Opportunities · Be available to assist fellow ISR’s with basic questions and day-to-day needs including customer support, vendor programs, daily technical operations , and coverage during PTO ADDITIONAL DUTIES Interact with vendors as well as co-owners in other departments Maintain a thorough understanding of connectivity between D H and partners Other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE · Some college preferred · 1 to 3 years of sales or phone sales experience WORK SCHEDULE Fulltime position (40 hours a week), Overtime, Weekends, Holidays, Trainings as required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly. Ability to comprehend and use training data from a variety of vendors. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and/or complete employment forms. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure Use calculator to determine profit margin REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats. Listen, understand, react and respond to customer, management, and vendor requests/instructions Ability to make sales decisions in regards to profitability and long term customer potential Exercise best judgment to service the customers in the best interest of D H CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Post hire certifications may be required to gain knowledge needed to stay current in field.
