Description
Due to the requirements of our residents, we can only consider male candidates for this specific post.
Carlton House is located in Rothwell Haigh, near to Leeds. It offers residential support for 10 males, including males on the autism spectrum and males with a learning disability. Carlton Cottage, which is immediately adjacent, offers support for a further six males.
Our team are dedicated to working with each individual we support on a person-centred basis to create and achieve goals to meet their own expectations. We want to help each person we care for to have a healthy, happy and independent life, within a safe and welcoming home.
We can also support those who have:
- Complex needs
- Mild to moderate behaviour that may challenge
- A forensic background
What you'll be doing
- Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
- Encourage and assist participation in activities and community life.
- Support service users in achieving their personal outcomes in the way they choose.
- Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality in line with policies and regulations.
- Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them to set goals and track progress.
- Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and suggestions.
