Deals Manager/Senior Manager Who we are: PwC Services Portugal (PSP) is a joint venture between PwC Luxembourg and PwC Portugal, serving as an integral extension of PwC Luxembourg. Our growing team operates as an acceleration center supporting PwC Luxembourg’s clients. Leveraging a unique pool of talented professionals based in Matosinhos, our operating model ensures scalability, consistency, and quality in service delivery by integrating seamlessly into PwC Luxembourg’s operations and addressing talent attraction challenges sustainably. PSP provides a range of services, including Assurance Audit (spanning all industries, with a particular focus on Real Estate and Private Equity), Broader Assurance Services, Tax (including Managed Services, Corporate Tax, VAT, and Accounting), and Advisory (specializing in the Global Fund Industry and Real Estate Valuation). Your mission... PwC Luxembourg’s Deals Strategy practice supports clients across the full transaction and strategic lifecycle, from defining growth strategies and assessing investment opportunities to executing complex transactions and driving post-deal value creation. We advise corporate, private equity and entrepreneurial clients on a wide range of engagements including M A advisory, Financial Due Diligence, Valuation and Strategy. As a Manager / Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact strategic and transaction engagements. You will work closely with Partners and Directors on domestic and cross-border mandates, act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders and take ownership of day-to-day delivery while contributing to the continued growth of the Deals Strategy practice. You will join a high-performing team focused on disciplined execution, informed deal decision-making and close collaboration with senior stakeholders. Be a part of our team where you will: Lead and manage engagements across M A, Due Diligence, Valuation and/or Strategy mandates, depending on your background and project needs; Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships with senior management and shareholders; Drive key workstreams including commercial and strategic analysis, financial due diligence, valuation, business plan review, transaction structuring and process coordination; Support clients in defining growth strategies, market entry plans, investment cases and value creation initiatives in a transaction context; Prepare and review high-quality client deliverables such as strategy decks, Due Diligence reports, valuation analyses, financial models and board materials depending on your background; Support Partners / Directors in originating new business, including pitch preparation, proposal development and market mapping; Provide coaching, mentorship and performance management for junior team members, fostering a strong team culture; Contribute to the strategic development of the Deals Strategy practice, including thought leadership, sector initiatives and capability building. Let's talk about you if you... Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in finance, business administration or a related field; Bring significant relevant experience (typically 5–8+ years) in M A advisory, Transaction Services / Due Diligence, Valuation, Corporate Finance, Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking or related fields; Have a proven track record of leading complex transactions and managing multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines; Possess strong technical skills in at least one of the following areas: Financial Due Diligence, Valuation financial modelling, M A / transaction execution, Commercial or corporate strategy; Demonstrate a commercial mindset with the ability to identify value drivers, assess risks and understand strategic considerations; Communicate with clarity and confidence, including in interactions with C‑suite executives and investors; Have experience mentoring and developing high‑performing teams; Bring a strong academic background, with relevant professional qualifications considered an advantage; Are fluent in English with a polished, professional writing and presentation style; Consider Luxembourgish, French or German as strong assets (but not requirements); Are willing to travel occasionally based on client and project needs. …You are the candidate we are looking for!
